AUTHENTICATION
Artist-led, provenance-informed
Authentication is a personal process for artists and a confusing one for potential buyers. Artists have a natural eye for details, especially in their own creations. By incentivising their participation in GCC exchanges and authentication requests, we bring that perspective to the service.
Physical objects. Hybrid ledgers.
We are building a physically oriented authentication system involving artists and physical and digital collector ledgers. For works valued at 5 GCC or more, we track the first recipient in both formats. If a current holder cannot articulate a believable pathway of provenance to that recipient, we rely more heavily on the artist.
Requirements & pricing
We require a complete object: a photo-book with no missing photos, or a toy with its original box. Original shipping boxes and packing materials are not required. Pricing starts at $10 per GCC, with a 10% bulk discount starting at 5 GCC. A quote is provided after reviewing your request.
