All of us have felt the rush of buying a piece at a gallery opening or art fair. But what happens if you don’t stay in love with it? Galleries may be slow to respond and auction houses may not be interested. What if that piece could be authenticated and exchanged for artwork circulating internationally among collectors, museums and artists?
An ecosystem built for exchange.
Our authentication services operate in collaboration with artists. GCC projects are linked through exchange, helping collectors explore new works while continuing to support creators. An increase in an object’s value may affect the ecosystem, but financial gain is not guaranteed.
How we choose projects.
Projects offered GCC status are selected by a board of collectors, artists and curators. The aim is access to art at authentic creative stages, including artist proofs and originals directly from the studio. In the future, we hope to host members-only exchanges with community partners.
